Who we are

Veloure ("Veloure", "we") runs this website. Contact: veloureweddings@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

Vendors: your name, business name, email, phone number, password (stored only in scrambled form), the profile details and photos you add, and your availability. We use these to run your account, show your public profile, and contact you about Veloure. Your phone number and email are not shown publicly.

Couples on the waitlist: your name, email, and optionally your wedding date, county and the services you are looking for. We use these to tell you when Veloure opens and to match you with vendors.

Couples who send a request or book: your names, email, phone number (optional), wedding date, location and any message you write. We share these with the vendor you contact so they can reply and, once you book, look after your day. We use your email to send updates about your request, reminders about your balance, and an invitation to review the vendor after the wedding.

Payments: deposits are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We rely on your consent for the waitlist, on the contract with you to handle your requests and bookings, and on our legitimate interest in running the vendor service for accounts you create.

Who sees it

Public profile information is visible to anyone. We use service providers to host the site and store data (Render, with servers in Frankfurt in the EU), to take payments (Stripe), to send email (Google) and to run our domain (Cloudflare). We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and account details until you ask us to delete them, or for 2 years after you last used Veloure. Booking and payment records are kept for 6 years because Irish tax law requires it.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email veloureweddings@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded videos from YouTube or Vimeo may set their own cookies when played.
